About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our team at GHD. As a key member of our Project Engineering Design and Construction team, you will be responsible for leading complex environmental remediation projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide senior leadership and mentorship to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of environmental remediation projects.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for complex remediation and risk management, working closely with clients and stakeholders.
  3. Manage design projects, including project teams, budgets, timelines, and deliverables, to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  4. Develop and review technical environmental reports, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for clients, leveraging your expertise in environmental engineering and project management.
  6. Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
Requirements
  1. 15+ years of experience in environmental engineering and project management.
  2. Accredited Professional Engineer in Canada or the US.
  3. Civil or environmental engineering degree.
  4. Possession of professional engineering designation to stamp/certify designs.
  5. Experience with developing and implementing strategies for complex remediation and risk management.
  6. Strong understanding of Canadian (including Ontario) environmental legislation.
  7. Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  8. Strong commitment to client service excellence.
