Job Responsibilities:
The Lighting Artist is responsible for designing and executing the lighting of characters and environments for assigned shots, ensuring alignment with the artistic direction of the production. The role requires the ability to light a variety of scenes, ranging from straightforward to moderately complex. Compositing experience is essential. The artist must ensure that the shots maintain continuity within the sequence and develop innovative solutions that adhere to both artistic and technical guidelines. A strong understanding of how art and technology interact is crucial. The artist will be accountable for achieving productivity and quota targets while collaborating with supervisors and peers to share relevant information about the project.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess knowledge of Katana, Maya, Linux, UNIX, and scripting in relevant programming languages. Familiarity with Arnold shading, volume rendering, and ray tracing is preferred. Experience with compositing software, particularly Nuke, is also advantageous. A minimum of 3 years of production experience or feature film experience is preferred.

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for a Senior position ranges from $45.34 to $65.10 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, educational background, certifications, and the position's location.
