Academic Leadership Position in Chemical Engineering

As a key member of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Ottawa, we are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Replacement Professor.
Union AffiliationThe successful candidate will be a member of the Association of Professors and Researchers of the University of Ottawa (APUO) and will be expected to participate in the collective bargaining process.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and conduct research in the field of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
- Contribute to the development of the department's curriculum and academic programs.
- Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and initiatives.
- Engage in service activities, including mentoring and advising students.
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering or a related field, with a strong record of research and teaching experience. The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
