Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan or modify routes based on real-time conditions utilizing computer systems and GPS technology to enhance fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism.
  • Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
  • Operate and drive both straight and articulated trucks for the transportation of goods and materials.
  • Inspect vehicle conditions, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Conduct emergency roadside repairs as necessary.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all vehicle aspects.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Document cargo details, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage accurately.
Required Certifications
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
