We are seeking a highly experienced Data Governance and Architecture Senior Manager to join our team at Bell. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing our data governance strategies, policies, and practices across the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Data Governance Initiatives: Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Design Enterprise Data Architecture: Oversee the design and evolution of our enterprise data architecture, including data platforms and data management technologies.
  • Drive Data as a Service: Spearhead the Data as a Service initiative, enabling efficient data access and utilization across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership: Work closely with executive leadership to align data strategies with business objectives and drive business outcomes.
  • Manage Data Teams: Manage a team of Enterprise data architects and governance specialists to ensure successful delivery of data governance initiatives.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards, including GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Improve Data Quality: Drive data quality improvement initiatives and establish data quality metrics to measure success.
  • Develop Data Catalogs: Develop and maintain data catalogs and metadata repositories to support data governance and data management.
  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Communication: Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration on data-related projects to ensure successful delivery.
Critical Qualifications
  • 10+ Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in data governance, enterprise architecture, or related fields.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale data initiatives.
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of data management technologies and Enterprise Data Model concepts.
  • Experience with Data as a Service: Experience with Data as a Service concepts and implementation.
  • Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with executive leadership.
  • Advanced Degree: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CDMP or TOGAF, are a plus.
