Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Westridge Painting & Coating Ltd. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products throughout our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Pick orders and stock
  • Weigh materials and goods
  • Make labels and attach to goods
  • Provide customer service
  • Wrap goods
  • Pack and unpack goods
  • Install, lash, and secure goods
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Work Environment

As a Material Handler, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and at heights.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a variety of locations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
