About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Stockyards UPSMART LTD. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Staff: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, ensuring that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that stock is ordered and received in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Merchandising and Visual Displays: Ensure that the store is visually appealing, with merchandise displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Financial Management: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including sales, expenses, and inventory levels.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure that the store is clean, tidy, and well-maintained, including the maintenance of equipment and fixtures.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for sales staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment.
  • Work Setting: Retail service establishment.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and manual dexterity.
