Co-op Applications Engineer

At Renesas Electronics, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Applications Engineer to join our team. As a Co-op Applications Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects focused on timing devices for industrial, datacenter, automobile, and 5G markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure the typical performance of our RF PLL devices on the bench.
- Develop and implement lab tests and scripts to achieve optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Strong understanding of frequency domain signals analysis, including phase noise, BODE plots, FFTs, and spectrum analysis.
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and function generators.
- Familiarity with Python programming language.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of PLL architecture and transmission line effects.
- Soldering and rework experience.
Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with coursework in circuit analysis and control system theory.
