Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Support Assistant to provide essential care and support to clients in their homes. This role is vital in ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals requiring assistance.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work Environment
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
  • Work in employer's/client's home.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Support clients in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Assist with feeding or provide support during meals.
  • Launder clothing and household linens as needed.
  • Mend clothing and linens to ensure proper upkeep.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
Certifications Required
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
Safety and Security
  • Criminal record check is mandatory.
