We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C. As a key member of our interprofessional care team, you will provide direct patient care, assess patient needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities- Assess patients and collect information from various sources to inform nursing diagnoses and develop care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote person-centered care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Participate in care conferences and councils to advance patient care and improve outcomes.
- Develop and maintain clinical skills through ongoing education and professional development.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement within the organization.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Completion of the applicable post-graduate specialty nursing course/program and/or willingness to complete the applicable post-graduate specialty nursing courses/program.
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
