Logistics Coordinator

PAL Aerospace is a distinguished partner of Airbus Defence & Space, contributing to the Government of Canada's Fixed Wing Search and Rescue aircraft replacement program. Our responsibilities encompass a wide range of service support activities, from collaborating with the Department of National Defence at the first line to executing maintenance tasks at the Depot level, which are not performed by Royal Canadian Air Force Squadrons. Additionally, our Depot level operations include implementing aircraft modifications and conducting specialized inspections.
To enhance our operational capabilities, PAL Aerospace is seeking a Warehouse Operator. This pivotal role is essential to our ongoing projects and will significantly contribute to the advancement of our operations.
The Warehouse Operator position is dynamic and primarily focused on data management, requiring exceptional time management skills from a proactive and self-driven individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee data management within the Logistic Management system (SAP SP1);
- Administer a locally developed Electronic Record keeping system;
- Maintain and update spreadsheets;
- Facilitate the shipping and receiving of items;
- Handle the issuance and receipt of parts in coordination with DND Supply personnel;
- Manage the flow of repairable components and equipment;
- Control consumable usage points;
- Engage in stock purchasing activities;
- Oversee warehouse inventory management;
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain or as a Military Supply/Traffic Technician;
- Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office, ERP systems, etc.);
- Previous experience with SAP is advantageous;
- Forklift operation experience is a plus;
- Willingness to work extended hours, evenings, on-call, and occasional shifts;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team;
- Aptitude for meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced and evolving environment;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written);
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Level II – Secret clearance;
- Ability to secure and maintain ITAR / CCG clearance.
