Position Overview

In the role of Insurance Analyst, you will engage in the assessment of insurance data, risk evaluation, and collaboration with the Director of Insurance and Global Insurance Lead to devise strategies aimed at cost reduction and enhanced coverage. Your interactions will include working alongside underwriters, claims adjusters, and various insurance professionals to ensure effective policy administration. Furthermore, you will support claims processing, policy oversight, and the preparation of necessary insurance documentation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Working with claims adjusters and finance teams to evaluate claims, assess financial implications, and manage invoicing and payments.
  • Gathering and interpreting insurance data to identify patterns and generate detailed reports for management review.
  • Conducting routine policy assessments to ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms.
  • Developing and revising insurance manuals and procedures, making them accessible on the company intranet.
  • Preparing and maintaining annual insurance renewal documentation and a comprehensive global policy inventory.
  • Offering guidance and support to internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries, and facilitating discussions on risk evaluations.

OUR PREFERRED CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, insurance, risk management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Insurance Analyst or in a comparable position within the insurance sector.
  • Progress towards a CRM designation is considered advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with additional risk management tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of insurance policies, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
