About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Canada Workday ULC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and building impactful and scalable personalized recommendation systems and generative AI applications within the Human Capital Management space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms to drive personalized user experiences across our product ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver ML solutions that meet business requirements and drive customer value.
  • Lead projects from specification design to deployment and ongoing monitoring, ensuring high-quality and practical solutions.
  • Utilize Workday's rich datasets to deliver insights that transform the way our customers make decisions and run their business.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in machine learning and deep learning. You should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, and at least 6 years of experience working on a data science, machine learning, or related software development team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience working on a data science, machine learning or related software development team.
  • 6+ years experience in Python and supporting numeric libraries, with experience in shipping production code and models.
  • 4+ years experience in machine learning and deep learning frameworks & toolkits such as Pytorch and Sklearn.
  • PhD or MS degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process.
