Accounting Clerk

We are a dynamic food processing company seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
• Payroll and Benefits: Assist with payroll processing, including calculating and preparing cheques for employees, and maintaining accurate records of benefits and deductions.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including preparing and filing tax returns.

• Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. The ability to work independently and maintain accurate records is essential.
