Accounting Clerk

We are a dynamic food processing company seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
• Payroll and Benefits: Process payroll and benefits for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Skills: Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
