Sales Director

We're a pioneering technology startup based in Eastern Canada, dedicated to transforming the way infrastructure projects are planned, built, and managed. Our innovative Software as a Service (SaaS) platform empowers stakeholders to assess, update, and report on project risks throughout their lifecycle, making standardized risk management accessible for every project in every community.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets
- Develop a comprehensive sales strategy, including setting sales targets, creating sales plans, and identifying key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, addressing their needs and highlighting the value proposition of our products or services
- Establish and document the sales process, including lead qualification, follow-up, negotiation, and closing procedures
- Track sales activities and performance metrics, preparing regular sales reports for management, providing insights and recommendations for improving sales performance
- Gather feedback from customers and prospects to inform product development and marketing strategies
- Identify and pursue opportunities for networking and partnerships that can enhance sales efforts and expand our reach
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with preference given to candidates with Enterprise or Govtech software sales experience
- Experience at early-stage companies/startups is a bonus
- Must be 'sales innovation aware' and up to date with new and emerging sales enablement technologies
- Remote work environment
- ~$75k CAD annual base salary plus sales commission
