Your Opportunity
BDO Canada is seeking a seasoned Manager to join our US Corporate Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities for cross-border operations, including preparing and reviewing tax reorganizations and reviewing tax returns.
- Leading US Tax engagements for partnership, trust, and corporate clients, providing expert guidance and advice.
- Building strong relationships with clients, understanding their industry, challenges, and opportunities.
- Participating in business development initiatives, identifying new business opportunities with existing clients.
- Communicating effectively with team members, providing progress updates and addressing issues in a timely manner.
- Engaging in training and professional development, investing in the growth and success of your team.

- Have a deep understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate and trust tax planning, and compliance.
- Have excellent communication skills in both English and French.
- Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
- Display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Your Background
We're looking for a candidate with:
- A Canadian or US CPA designation.
- At least 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on US Tax clients.
