We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at PB 152128 CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a key member of our construction and renovation team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations, using measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to construct and renovate buildings and structures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the structural integrity of buildings.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the construction and renovation of buildings.
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Survey building locations and levels to ensure accuracy and precision in construction and renovation projects.
- Instruct and supervise apprentices to ensure they receive proper training and guidance in carpentry and construction techniques.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial buildings, including wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
- 3-4 years of experience in carpentry and construction.
- Ability to work at heights and in noisy, dusty environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Ability to travel for work-related purposes, with travel expenses paid by the employer.
