We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Canadian Brew House (Uptown) Ltd. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including menu items and specials, to meet the needs of our customers.
- Ensure that all food is prepared to a high standard of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all kitchen tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies and equipment.
- Participate in menu planning and development to ensure that dishes are appealing to customers and meet the needs of the business.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
