Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Operations Specialist to join our team at Digital Imports. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to transport goods to customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and build strong relationships with our clients.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, including managing schedules, routes, and inventory.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered during transportation.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws related to transportation and logistics, including handling hazardous materials.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is an asset.
  • Certifications: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
