Concrete Forms Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team at Brenta Forming and Framing. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing and constructing concrete forms, ensuring that they meet the required specifications and building codes.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare layouts and designs for concrete forms, using measuring tools and software
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions from supervisors or engineers
- Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work efficiently and effectively
As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights and in confined spaces. You will be required to lift heavy materials, bend, crouch, and kneel frequently. You must be physically fit and able to work independently.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Manual dexterity and ability to use various tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions
- Health care plan

- Support for Indigenous people, including cultural competency training
- Support for visible minorities, including mentorship programs
