About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Affinity Seniors Care. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Patient Care
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
    • Conduct vital sign assessments and record observations
    • Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Assist with Medical Procedures
    • Prepare patients for medical procedures and surgeries
    • Assist surgeons and medical teams during procedures
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams
    • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
    • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and decision-making
  • Maintain Accurate Records
    • Document patient information, including medical history, treatments, and outcomes
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Graduate of a Practical Nursing program
    • Eligible for licensure as a Practical Nurse in the province/territory of work
  • Skills and Experience
    • Minimum 7 months of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
