Medical Oncologist/Hematologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our team at BC Cancer. As a key member of our collaborative care team, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with lymphoma and myeloma.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients with lymphoma and myeloma, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Participate in clinical, research, administrative, and educational activities to advance the field of hematology and oncology.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology or Hematology.
- Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia and credentialing by the Professional Advisory Committee of BC Cancer.
- Eligibility for a clinical appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia.
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada, as per TRC and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act.
- Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism and accompanying reports.
