Position Overview
As a Service Quality Analyst at CLBC, you will serve as the primary liaison for service providers, representing CLBC in all interactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating service contracts or agreements and negotiating pricing details and quantities.
- Discussing contract pricing and providing guidance on necessary corrective actions in service delivery.
- Collaborating with Facilitators regarding support requests, service availability, and resource appropriateness.
- Conducting on-site evaluations (homes, staffed residential facilities, programs, etc.) and addressing competency and service-related concerns.
- Assisting individuals and their families in crisis situations in partnership with the Facilitator.
- Establishing and nurturing new service partnerships.
- Facilitating service collaboration and developing cost-sharing agreements.
- Communicating with key personnel about current funding challenges or delays and participating in local budget management as a team member.
- Reviewing financial documentation to ensure the provision of services aligns with approved funding supports.
Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates holding a Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience in the social services sector, particularly in resource development or contract management, is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
A valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
Work Arrangement This position combines on-site office responsibilities with the flexibility to work remotely within BC after completing a six-month probationary period.
Travel Requirements Occasional travel within the North Vancouver Island region may be necessary.
Additional Information
Team: North Island Local 6
Status/Term: Auxiliary. Anticipated 70 hours bi-weekly for 12 months. Regular status staff may fill this position as a temporary assignment.
Classification/Salary: Social Program Officer (Growth to R24) / Starting at $39.30 to $41.65 hourly.
