Role Overview
The Program Management Office (PMO) for Avionics is on the lookout for a driven and results-oriented Programs Analyst to join our team. In this capacity, you will be tasked with steering a portfolio of essential projects to successful completion. The selected candidate will lead a cross-functional team, including external partners, and manage all facets of project execution.
- Define the program's goals and objectives, illustrating its impact on the business;
- Oversee the development and management of strategies, timelines, and budgets for your project portfolio;
- Establish and monitor metrics to evaluate performance and progress, prepare status reports, and adjust schedules and plans as necessary;
- Provide daily leadership to cross-functional teams;
- Present project timelines, business cases, and updates during regular reviews with senior management;
- Identify key project risks and develop corresponding mitigation strategies;
- Escalate issues to the appropriate management level as required;
- Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications for Success
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or Business;
- A technical or manufacturing background in aerospace is advantageous;
- Over five (5) years of relevant experience;
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong decision-making ability;
- Extensive project management experience (PMP certification is a plus), along with team leadership capabilities and robust analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills;
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to influence at various organizational levels;
- Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines while fulfilling commitments;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) and Power BI;
- Fluency in English and French (both written and spoken).
