Job Description

As a member of the Timing Applications Engineering team at Skyworks, you will support combined hardware and software Network Synchronization solutions in real-world customer systems. This role requires hands-on, board-level customer support, exposing you to a large variety of technical problems. Flexibility and creative problem-solving are key skills required in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Bench validation of embedded HW+SW systems
  2. FPGA synthesis, place and route, timing closure
  3. Linux application coding in C using GCC/GNU tools
  4. Customer-facing documentation for IEEE 1588 solutions
Requirements

Students working towards a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (or related) are encouraged to apply.

Desirable Skills
  1. FPGA project experience with Verilog/VHDL
  2. Embedded Linux project experience
