Job Title: Senior Vice President of Business Development

We are seeking a seasoned business development leader to drive results for our family of funds specializing in alternative investments. As Senior Vice President of Business Development, you will be responsible for selling into our established National Accounts in Western Canada, focusing on Alberta and British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales meetings with IIROC advisors to explain the advantages of partnering with our firm and the benefits of alternative investments.
  • Leverage your established advisor relationships while continuing to network for new relationships.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to provide support to advisors.
  • Assist with marketing strategies to grow Assets Under Management (AUM).

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 10+ years of External Wholesale experience with a strong track record of success in sales and a large established network of advisors.
  • Experience in selling alternative investments.
  • University degree or equivalent industry education (industry designations are an added bonus).
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work well independently and also in a team.
  • High energy, self-starter, and self-motivated.
