About the Opportunity- We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dedicated care team in one of our beautiful assisted living and long-term care facilities.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care and making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Administer medications and provide personal and nursing care to residents in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.
- Directly supervise care staff to ensure residents receive high-quality care and support.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the facility.
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
- Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).
- Cultural education and experience are preferred.
- Competitive hourly rate of $32.84 plus benefits after probation.
