Position Overview:

The Licensed Practical Nurse serves as a vital link among management, residents, and their families, while also playing an essential role in patient care and safety. This position is crucial in monitoring residents' health, ensuring their comfort, and delivering compassionate, skilled nursing care.

Qualifications Required:

  1. A minimum of one year of experience in geriatric care.
  2. Proven expertise in dementia care and strong interpersonal abilities.
  3. Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse training program.
  4. Current registration or eligibility for a practice permit with the provincial College of Licensed Practical Nurses.
  5. Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

Work Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off (2 day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and 2 night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am).
