Job Title: Truck and Transport Vehicle Repairer

GARAGE CHAREST & FRÈRES INC. is seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Vehicle Repairer to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Truck and Transport Vehicle Repairer to perform repairs and maintenance on commercial transport trucks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, and diagnostics.

Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Tools
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
  • Standing for extended periods
