Grill Cook

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Nando's. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory levels.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
This is a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
