Who Are We Seeking?
Interior Health is currently in search of Casual Cooks to enhance our team. We are looking for individuals who possess a flexible schedule and are available for rotating day shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Candidates should be open to cross-training in various food service roles, such as Food Service Worker. If you are dedicated, empathetic, and focused on providing exceptional care, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
Shift Details: 06:30 to 14:30, 06:30 to 14:43. This position is casual, meaning there are no guaranteed hours, and work requirements may fluctuate.
Key Responsibilities:
The Cook role involves tasks related to the preparation and cooking of meals, portioning and serving food, as well as cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and designated cooking areas.

Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience: Completion of a recognized 12-month program in quantity cooking or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

- Physical capability to perform the duties of this role.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in operating relevant kitchen equipment.
