Position SummaryWe are currently in search of a qualified Level II Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team at CFB Wainwright. This role is essential in providing comprehensive dental care to military members, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the dental healthcare delivery team.
Key Responsibilities- Support dentists and dental clinicians chairside during a variety of dental procedures.
- Conduct dental radiography as required.
- Execute a range of dental laboratory tasks.
- Ensure the sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
- Maintain the dental operating environment and oversee the inventory of consumable supplies.
- Provide necessary administrative assistance as needed.
- Perform other relevant duties associated with this role.
- Completion of an accredited Level II (Intra-Oral) Dental Assisting program.
- Current licensure in good standing as a Level II Dental Assistant with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants.
- Demonstrated experience in performing intra-oral procedures and providing clinical support across various dental disciplines.
- Possession of (or ability to obtain) CPR Level C / AED certification.
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Reliability level Government Security clearance.
