Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class A Pressure Welder to join our team at Jewel Welding Fabrication and Coatings Ltd. in Maple Ridge, BC. As a key member of our fabrication and coatings team, you will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling steel pipe for major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and fabricating steel pipe for infrastructure projects
  • Assembling and testing welds to ensure high-quality results
  • Working independently in a busy environment and collaborating with team members as needed
  • Meeting production deadlines and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements
Requirements
  • Valid welding certification (CWB, SMAW, or FCAW)
  • Minimum B level log book or equivalent
  • Class "A", "IT", or "R" certification from TSBC
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
