Psychiatrist - Women's Trauma and Concurrent Program

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at the Homewood Health Centre in Guelph, Ontario. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex psychiatric disorders.
About the Role:- Provide medical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex psychiatric disorders.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatment planning for patients with complex psychiatric disorders.
- Provide medication management and other medical interventions as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:- Medical degree from a recognized university.
- Specialist certification in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent body.
- Experience working with patients with complex psychiatric disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
