About the Role
Viking Fire Protection Inc is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and clients to ensure project success
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or college diploma in fire protection or building mechanics
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management, fire alarm systems, or a related field
- Proficiency in standards and codes governing automatic fire protection systems
- Valid driver's license and good knowledge of WHMIS
