Position: Business Analyst - Capital Markets - CDS/Broadridge

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support our client in the Banking Sector, specifically focusing on Capital Markets and the CDS/Broadridge platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the upgrade of the platform for industry users, transitioning to a new web-based GUI for Post Trade Management.
  • Facilitate coordination among clearing and settlement participants, service providers, and regulatory bodies throughout the implementation process.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of test cases on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with CDS, Broadridge, and internal partners to manage defect triage and resolution of JIRA tickets.
  • Define the scope of testing and develop/refine test cases accordingly.
  • Conduct necessary preparations for testing, including environment setup and access configurations.
  • Lead and mentor junior Business Analysts, providing updates to the project lead on progress and challenges.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4-7 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
  • Proven experience in Capital Markets, particularly in Trade Settlements and Clearing.
  • Familiarity with Broadridge systems.
  • Proficient in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
