Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate programs that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment that prioritizes children's needs and well-being.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid Early Childhood Educator License to Practice.
  • Three satisfactory professional references and experience working with children in a childcare or recreational setting.
  • Current child care First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record and Clear Vulnerable Sector Search.
