About the Role:

The YMCA of Greater Vancouver is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate programs that promote child development and learning
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment that supports the well-being and success of all children
  • Adhere to all Child Care Licensing Regulations and YMCA Child Protection Policies

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Early Childhood Educator License to Practice
  • Three satisfactory professional references and experience working with children in a child care/recreational setting
  • Current child care First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain and Satisfactory Criminal Record and Clear Vulnerable Sector Search
