Job Description:

Affinity is seeking multiple Network Analysts to secure virtual workloads with VMware's NSX-T.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure virtual networks.
  2. Analyze application traffic flows and create CSV files for input into VRA automation.
  3. Develop and implement security policies based on flow analysis and application tags.
  4. Participate in peer reviews and provide feedback to application owners.
  5. Collaborate with project teams to implement approved changes and provide warranty support.
  6. Attend regular meetings and planning sessions to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  1. Must have one or more of the following Cisco certifications: CCNA/CCNP, VCP, VCP-NV, VCAP Deploy, VCAP Design, or CompTIA Security+.
  2. Must have a minimum of one year of experience with NSX-T distributed firewall.
  3. Must have worked with NSX-T distributed firewall within the last two years.
Desirable Qualifications:
  1. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience with next-generation firewalls.
  2. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience in a vCenter environment.
  3. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience with Wireshark or similar packet capture utilities.
  4. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience with network log analysis.
  5. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience with problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  6. Familiarity with security zones and multi-tier applications is a plus.

Hourly Rate: $70-$90 Per Hour.
