Job Title: Network Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Architect to join our team at Affinity Group. As a Network Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure network architectures that comply with PCI DSS requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implement Secure Network Architectures: Develop and implement secure network architectures that meet PCI DSS compliance requirements.
  2. Technical Skills:
    1. Network Design: Proficiency in designing secure and scalable network architectures, including segmentation, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure connectivity.
    2. Network Technology:
      1. Cisco Networking Products: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco networking products, including Cisco SD-WAN/SDA, routers, switches, and security appliances.
      2. Check Point Firewalls: Expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing Check Point firewalls, including advanced features such as threat prevention, IDS/IPS, and compliance with PCI DSS.
      3. F5 Big-IP: In-depth experience with F5 Big-IP products, including application delivery controllers (ADC), load balancers, and SSL offloading.
    3. Secure Architecture Frameworks:
      1. Knowledge of secure architecture frameworks such as Zero Trust, defense-in-depth, and layered security models.
    4. Cloud Security:
      1. Expertise in designing secure network architectures in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, with a focus on PCI compliance in cloud deployments.
    5. Encryption and Key Management:
      1. Experience with implementing encryption protocols, key management systems, and secure communication channels that meet PCI requirements.
  3. Compliance and Governance:
    1. Compliance Auditing and Documentation:
      1. Ability to produce detailed network architecture documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies, that can be used for PCI audits.
    2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
      1. Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to address identified risks in network security.
    3. Security Policies and Procedures:
      1. Expertise in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures that align with PCI DSS requirements.
  4. Experience Communication, and Documentation:
    1. Demonstrated Experience:
      1. Provide details of the hands-on experience with the products outlined in the technical skills section.
    2. Clear Communication:
      1. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
    3. Training and Knowledge Transfer:
      1. Ability to provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams on maintaining PCI-compliant network architectures.
