About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at Creek Shawarma & Bakery. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, following established recipes and quality standards.
  • Bake and decorate pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats to meet customer demand.
  • Train and supervise junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Ensure that all kitchen and food service areas meet high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of stock levels and supplies.
  • Prepare special dietary options for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
