Job Title: HR Generalist

LIXIL Water Technology Americas is a global leader in water and housing products, making better homes a reality for everyone, everywhere.

We're seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in a Fix Term contract role. As an HR Generalist, you will provide Human Resources guidance and support on a wide variety of operational HR matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR guidance and support on complex and routine operational HR matters
  • Point of contact for the Human Resources department for internal client groups and external customers
  • Support the delivery of responsive, effective, and value-add HR services and programs
  • Build effective relationships with employees, clients, and management
  • Full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviews, job offers, and onboarding
  • Manage Health & Safety programs, accident investigations, WSIB claims, regular H&S reporting, and co-chair Health & Safety Committee
  • Interpret, monitor, and update HR policies and programs as needed
  • Coordinate fleet management needs and maintain fleet program records
  • Pension plan administration, process new enrollments/terminations, retirement estimates, annual statements
  • Assist in executing annual programs, such as performance reviews, compensation statements, culture survey, etc.
  • Process HR transactions, Payroll Request Authorizations, PeopleSoft updates, and maintain employee records and files
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis on HR metrics
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of HR experience
  • Aptitude for utilizing emerging technologies and strong working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other functionally required technology
