Position Overview:The Placement Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the School of Health and Community Services by facilitating Workplace Integrated Learning opportunities. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive assistance to students, host organizations, faculty, and program coordinators throughout the placement process to ensure optimal student outcomes and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance administrative processes and systems that uphold quality standards and liability management.
- Ensuring effective communication and coordination among students, employers, and academic staff.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with program requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A three-year diploma in Health, Justice, Legal Studies, or Community Development, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of relevant administrative experience in a healthcare, community services, or academic setting.
- Strong knowledge of operations within health and human services sectors.
- Proficiency in various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
