Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Lodge Manager to lead our Camp Services team. The Lodge Manager will oversee all aspects of business and operational functions within the camp, ensuring that operational, administrative, and financial goals are met. This role requires strong skills in project management, resource allocation, relationship building, and effective leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a diverse support team to meet the needs of our clients at the Lodge.
- Coordinate service delivery across various functional areas, including food services, accommodations, security, and facilities management.
- Act as the primary liaison with client site-management to ensure timely and effective operational support.
- Maintain awareness of all ongoing tasks, personnel, and resources.
- Prepare and submit internal and external reports punctually.
- Facilitate effective training, orientation, and scheduling for staff.
- Monitor service implementation to ensure quality and consistency.
- Conduct regular quality audits to uphold service standards.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
- Assist in pricing and promotional strategy development.
- Manage budgets while monitoring income and expenditures.
- Address and resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including ATCO Frontec’s Health and Safety policies.
- Support supervisors in implementing quality assurance functions and participate in ISO Quality Management Systems.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in hotel management or a related field.
- 5-10 years of management experience in the accommodation sector.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to supervise kitchen staff effectively.
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Proficient in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Skilled in problem-solving.
