Position Overview

The Classic Edge Construction Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Welder to join our skilled team. This role requires a strong foundation in welding techniques and the ability to work with various materials.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a welding or fabrication environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply welding process specifications effectively.
  • Read and analyze welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Inspect welds to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
  • Operate metal shaping, straightening, and bending machinery, including brakes and shears.
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal components as required.
  • Assess the weldability of various materials to ensure optimal results.
  • Utilize hoisting and lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
