As a Receiving Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, and distribution of all products delivered to the facility. Your role is crucial in ensuring that these tasks are executed efficiently and professionally to maintain the highest standards of guest satisfaction.
Ensure the back door and receiving area, along with all storage spaces, are properly organized and maintained daily. This includes cleaning and organizing all dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage areas and shelves, while also keeping the back door area clear for the safety of all personnel. Properly handle, store, and rotate all products to maintain quality. Adhere to all security protocols for back door receiving, including verifying airport badges and all necessary paperwork for deliveries. Responsible for the accurate check-in of all products, which involves inspecting packages, monitoring product temperatures, and verifying dates on perishable items when applicable. This also includes ensuring delivered products match invoice specifications, pack sizes, and quantities received. Follow all company guidelines and procedures for the delivery of products to individual units. Maintain positive vendor relationships and adhere to all procedures regarding product rejection or returns. Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required. Notify the manager immediately regarding any product shortages. Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by the supervisor to comply with health standards. Return all items used during your shift to their designated places, clean and organize all work and storage areas (including coolers and refrigerators), and ensure all trash containers are emptied and re-lined. Meet with the manager upon arrival to discuss shift setup and check out with the manager before leaving to confirm that all duties have been completed.
