About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a skilled Alteryx Server Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Alteryx Server environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain Alteryx Server software layers
  • Perform system administration tasks, including site creation, server maintenance, upgrades, and patches
  • Manage change control processes for software and hardware upgrades
  • Monitor server activity and usage statistics to identify performance issues and opportunities for enhancement
  • Perform performance tuning and server management of the Tableau Server environment
  • Create and manage groups and data connections
  • Support the migration of workflows from development to production environments
  • Install, migrate, and upgrade Alteryx Servers
  • Perform performance analysis of existing Alteryx Servers
  • Manage break/fix activities to support Lines of Business users
  • Provide best practice recommendations
  • Perform day-to-day administration of Alteryx servers
  • Configure and manage project permissions and provide periodic reports on Alteryx Server usage
  • Document and publish Alteryx workbooks and data extracts/Alteryx workflows/apps/macros
  • Provide support to the user community on various Alteryx Server and Desktop issues
  • Create Alteryx-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Packaging Desktop applications and preparing them for distribution
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of Alteryx Server and its associated technologies. You will also need to have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have strong communication skills.
