Job Title: Automotive Body Repair Technician

Thandi Auto Care Centre Ltd. is seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Body Repair Technician to repair and restore vehicles to their original condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive body repair techniques and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Plan and execute repair work, including replacing front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling and safety
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to match original colors
  • Repair or replace interior components, including windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Mix and apply paint to match original colors
  • Operate soldering equipment and use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Requirements:
  • Experience in automotive body repair is an asset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of automotive body repair techniques
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
