About the Role

The Wonderful Company is seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and maintaining industrial automation systems that enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate automation systems that meet business requirements.
  • Develop, program, and configure automation software for PLCs, SCADA systems, and other control devices.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting support for automation systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Lead or contribute to automation projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in industrial automation technologies and trends.
  • Conduct training sessions for operational staff on the use and maintenance of automation systems.
  • Ensure that automation systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyze data from various monitoring and manufacturing execution systems.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and create work orders and work requests in MEX.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in the work area and organize machine parts and components appropriately.
  • Assist the Maintenance team with maintenance activities and major overhauls and installations.
  • Support organizational philanthropic, quality, and environmental initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the field of industrial automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of PLC programming, HMI design, SCADA systems, and other automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols OPC, Profibus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management skills to oversee automation projects from initiation to completion.
  • Understanding of industry regulations and standards related to industrial automation.
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to new technologies and stay informed about industry developments.
